Daily pet sitting visits are a great relief for pet owners who travel a lot, work long hours, or are simply taking a well-deserved vacation. Here are some things to remember.
It is best to plan a couple of weeks in advance in order to obtain pet sitting services on the dates you desire. An in-home Meet & Greet is required, prior to reservations, for all new clients. While we can tentatively pencil in your dates, we must meet with you and your pet(s) and determine your needs before we make a commitment to providing care for your pet(s).
Please plan on having a house key for us during the initial Meet & Greet. We recommend that your key remain in your file for the convenience of future services and thus avoiding future key pick-up appointments. Should you choose to have your key returned or leave a key for pet sitting services arrange in advance. If you would like to have Pet Au Pair pick up a key in advance there's a $20.00 pick up fee/drop fee if you would like to be home for pick up or drop off. You can drop it off/pick it up with us at any time for No Charge.
It is the pet owner’s sole responsibility to “pet-proof” any areas of the home and/or property to which the pet(s) has access. This includes thoroughly inspecting fences, gates, latches, doors and other devices meant to contain the pet(s) or restrict access to specific areas. The pet sitter does not assume responsibility and has no liability for any injuries the pet(s) may sustain or property damage the pet(s) may cause while in their own home/property.
In order to best serve your needs, the strict cancellation policy is as follows – Both Pet Visits and Potty Break Visits are subject to a twenty-four-hour (24) cancellation period. Overnight visits are subject to a one-week (7) day cancellation period. The cancellation period begins twenty-four hours (24) before your visit time. The client will be responsible for the visit cost if not canceled within this time period. Often times our sitters plan their vacations and daily schedules around our client's schedules! We want clients who respect us as much as we respect them, their homes, and pets.
HOLIDAY Cancellation Policy:
Daily Visit Pet Sitting services are subject to Five (5) day cancellation period during a holiday. The cancellation period is determined by counting back from the date services are scheduled to begin. If reservations are canceled prior to the cancellation period, the client will receive a refund or credit. Otherwise, the client will be responsible for 50% of the invoice total. If changes are made to a reservation during the service period no refunds or credits will be given and clients are required to pay for the reserved amount of visits. The service period begins on the date of the first scheduled visit and ends on the date of the last scheduled visit. Reservation extensions are always available and will be subject to a supplemental invoice and will be collected upon the client's return. We will not share your personal information with any other third party for marketing or promotional reasons. We collect your name, address, phone numbers, email addresses, payment information, and home/pet information for the sole purpose of providing quality pet care and home care services for you.
